I played pool
today in a
hotel in Green Bay,
Wisconsin.
I didn't play
well but neither
did she, however,
I still lost.
2 balls left
on the felt
when her last
ball made its
dropping clunk
the sound
as it sunk below
the line of the table.
I played pool
today with a
sense of irony
since I am
remarkably without
talent in the game
nor the spirit to
compete to win.
But, in Green Bay
it just seemed right
to play pool.
